Cutting Edge Precision. Brand identity for a visionary measurement technology for opticians.

Context

Qvido combines advanced technology with expert knowledge to produce convincingly simple solutions. Under the umbrella of Fielmann AG, one of the world's leading companies in the field of ophthalmic optics, Qvido offers modern opticians a high-precision measurement process for the app-based fitting of spectacle lenses.

Approach

Based on the collaboratively developed brand strategy, we designed a new naming and technical design system that reflects the precision of the measurement process in all facets and consistently stages the brand across all touchpoints. As a digital product, the app was at the center of the brand design. In iterative sprints, we optimized the UX, developed a variable UI kit, and implemented it together with the internal development team. A distinct photographic look, CGI, and illustrations rounded out the digital and analog media - from website to packaging.

Approach

The digital extension of the Qvido measuring frame is the iPad app: The improved UI design makes the software even easier and more intuitive to use.
